When we were kids, we usually went to the forest in the afternoon to have an adventure, which we take knife or bolo with us to protect us from snakes or predator and at the same time, to have something to use when we find some fruits or anything we could take home. Most of the time, we went there to find fruits. Our forest had a lot of fruit trees and we climbed and ate at the tree. Sometimes there are fruits also on the ground like pineapple.
Our forest had a lot of wild pineapples. No one plant them, but they are just there growing and waiting to be consumed. When we peeled the pineapples, we peel them then we just throw the crown, and would grow without planting it. After several months, when we went to the forest again, we would see the pineapple crowns had grown to a big plant without anyone taking care of them. Pineapples are a no care plants. They could survive and live without expecting any help from human.
When I bought a pineapple and took home and while I was peeling it, I suddenly remembered our younger years when we used to go to the forest eating pineapples. This made me create this video, based on my experience that if we dry the crown of the pineapple, like when we just threw it, then it could grow. I have tried this method, and surely, the crown that I planted is doing well.
With this trial, I know that my method of planting the crown of the pineapple is working, so I created this video and wanted to share in YouTube.
Please watch my ‘How To Grow Pineapple’ if you don’t know how grow pineapple, or if you are curious and would like to just find out or would like to try it.
